Can I fight Haunted Paws creatures with weapons?
No verified weapon, rune, or job. Steam says you defeat evil creatures and uncover a dark past. The demo input this site can repeat is run or go around. HP and DPS are not on this page.

Haunted Paws creatures are the things that end a search if you stay in the room. Steam Demo 4992280, live October 8, 2026, from LazyFlock, is played by running or taking the long way around. The store page for the full game (Steam 2861080, still TBA) says you defeat evil creatures, uncover the dark past each one hides, and set them free. That sentence is the story pitch. This demo does not hand you a weapon, a health bar, or a damage number, so this page will not invent HP or DPS. Verified October 24, 2026 · demo store page · full store page.
What you can actually do in this build is short. Bark the small fridge creature only when the apartment is empty, because that bark is a clue. On the street, grabbing the object starts a chase, and a puppy who is late to a door that is already open gets hit. A spider-bodied figure on the factory approach means turn around. A hide line later in that approach did not save the run in the pass this site checked. Media notes about skeletons, a garden scarecrow, and a black cat stay labeled below. There is no creature icon pack, so the tables are the whole entry.
| What you meet | Where it shows up | Do this |
|---|---|---|
| Fridge creature | Apartment fridge, room empty | Bark so the snack ad reaches the board. Not a boss |
| Street chase | After you grab the object the figure wants | Both puppies run for a door already opened. Do not bark |
| Spider-bodied figure | Factory approach | Turn around and go back. Sneaking past is Unverified |
| Hide line | Same approach, later | The prompt exists. A failed hide is a grab. Do not bet the run on it |
| Skeletons | Media: garden, kitchen, cleaning | Leave them alone. "Neutral if undisturbed" is a preview, Unverified as a rule |
| Garden scarecrow | Media: garden hazard | Go around. Boss status is Unverified |
| Black cat | Media plot claim | Unverified. Not a coat you must wear and not a fight |
| Store "defeat" line | Full-game pitch | No weapon, HP, or DPS on this site. The demo input is evade |
Treat every moving threat as a route problem. Stop the puzzle input the moment the figure commits to you. Both puppies go to the door you used on the way in. One puppy left on the wrong side of that door is how the pair loses the object and the room. Do not open a menu looking for a gun, a rune, or a breed that hits harder. None of those are in this demo.
The street chase is the one this page can time. You are carrying something the figure wants. The grab is the start, not a free second to sniff. Call the run out loud, then both of you move. If your partner is still turning around when you cross the threshold, the late puppy is the one that gets hit. Opening the door during the chase is the same miss: the door was supposed to be open before the grab. Retry the same path. Do not add a new room.

| Mistake | What happens | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Door still shut when you grab | The late puppy is hit at the threshold | Open it on the way in |
| One puppy stays to sniff | That puppy is alone with the figure | Drop the clue and use the same door |
| Bark to "fight" the chase | The figure stays on the bark | Bark only in an empty room, on an object |
| Split to a second exit you have not opened | One puppy meets a closed door | Use the exit you already used |
| Look for HP, DPS, or a weapon wheel | There is nothing to equip | Run. Stats stay off this page |
Steam says you defeat evil creatures and uncover the past they hide, then set them free. Keep that as the full-game promise. The sessions this site checked never draw a weapon, never show a hit point value, and never rank a breed by damage. "Defeat" may later mean a story beat, a puzzle, or a route that ends the encounter. Until LazyFlock shows that beat in a build you can replay, the working verb is evade.
A nickname from a preview is not a bestiary row. Describe the body: small fridge creature, street figure, spider body. If a writeup gives it a proper name, leave the name Unverified. The clue page is where the bark and the sniff belong. The puzzle page is the door you should have opened first.
Call the door before the grab, the same way you call a two-puppy hold. Online co-op, split-screen, Friend's Pass, and Remote Play Together all still need both puppies on the exit. A solo-only clear of a chase is Unverified. Party setup is on co-op. Different coats make the callout obvious in the dark, which is the breeds page.
Once the door habit is in your hands, the next section is the one creature you are supposed to approach: the thing in the fridge. It is a pin. It is not the street chase.
Matched by build plan, shared topics, and guide progression — not random related links.
No. The small creature in the apartment fridge is a board item. The room is the messy apartment, the prompt is what happened to the owner, and the bark is how the snack ad reaches the board. Read the board after you bark. In demo play the ad names a company that reads as Chompos, and the board then ties the owner to that factory and to a monster, not to a person you can punch. If your board spells the company differently, copy the letters on the board.
The bark has a condition. The apartment has to be empty. If something is already moving toward you, skip the fridge and leave. Barking next to a chase is the volume problem on the evade section: the figure hears it and stays with you. Do not "finish" the fridge creature. There is no health value to empty, and emptying one would throw away the ad.

The useful order is the one on the clue page: sniff the broken window and the claw marks, sniff the owner's shoe, bark the fridge only if the room is quiet, then read whether the board still wants more. The fridge answers "why were they taken" and feeds the "who" line the board calls a monster. It does not unlock a weapon for the street.
Claw marks beside the window are evidence of that same monster. They are a sniff, not a summon. Do not stand in the claw marks and bark to start a fight the demo does not have. When the board writes a factory sentence, you are done with the apartment creature. The street figure is a different encounter, and it uses the run from the previous section.
A small body in a fridge is easy to over-read. It is not the garden scarecrow, it is not the spider-bodied figure, and it is not the black cat from media previews. Those three stay in the names section because this site has not watched them take a hit point. The fridge one is done when the ad is on the board.
If the bark does nothing, you are either too far from the fridge or the room is no longer empty. Step in, confirm you are alone, and bark once. A second bark after the ad is already pinned does not add a second company. The next body you should plan for is the spider on the factory approach.
Turn around and go back through the door you entered. That is the call that worked on the factory approach: the body reads as a spider, the pair says go back, and staying to sneak does not hold. One pass tried to creep past the same kind of body and the run ended in a grab. Sneak-past stays Unverified. Run-back is the habit.
The setup screen can show spiders as intended or in an arachnophobia-friendly presentation. Pick that before you lock a breed. The toggle changes how the body is drawn. It does not delete the encounter, and it does not add an attack. A friendlier spider is still a reason to leave the room. Media names for the body stay Unverified. Say "spider body" so your partner knows which door you mean.

Later on that approach a hide line comes up. Use it only when the prompt is on your screen, and keep the other puppy on the same plan. In the pass this site checked, the hide did not save the puppy: the spider was still a spider, the grab landed, and the run ended. Treat a successful hide as Unverified until you see the figure give up and the prompt release you.
Do not crouch in a corner that has no prompt and call it stealth. This demo has not shown a stealth meter. If the hide fails, you retry from the door, the same way you retry a late street door. You do not unlock a counter-attack by dying.

October 19, 2026 news names a Spider accessory among nine looks. That is a thing a puppy wears. It is not the body chasing you, and wearing it does not calm the factory approach. Hats and coats are on the breeds page. Equipping one before you enter does not change the route.
If the arachnophobia option is already on, leave it on and still go back. Presentation is not pathing. After both puppies are through the door, return to whatever the board or the ID-card dig was asking. That dig is a puzzle, and it waits until the approach is quiet. The next section is every name that is still only a preview.
Three names travel ahead of the demo, and none of them has a verified health bar. Walking skeletons show up in previews as mansion staff: some garden, some cook, some clean, and a writeup says they may ignore you if you leave them alone. That "may" is the whole rule. Do not poke one to test it, and do not write a patrol map this site has not walked. If your session has no skeleton, you are not missing a required boss.
A scarecrow is described as a garden hazard. Go around the garden bed it stands on if you reach that yard, and do not stand in front of it looking for a weak point. Boss status is Unverified. A black cat as the cause of the kidnapping is a media claim and stays Unverified. The board says owner and monster. It does not ask you to fight a cat, and the kitten-in-disguise fur is a coat, not this plot point.
| Name | Source | How to treat it |
|---|---|---|
| Skeleton | Media preview | May stay neutral if you do not disturb it. Unverified as a promise. No icon |
| Garden scarecrow | Media preview | Garden hazard. Boss status Unverified. Go around |
| Black cat | Media plot note | Unverified. Not the white kitten coat and not a bestiary fight |
| Kira Pawsley | Media name for the owner | Unverified. The board says owner |
| Street figure | Demo chase after a grab | Run. No verified proper name |
| Spider body | Demo, factory approach | Go back. Proper name Unverified |
| Fridge creature | Demo, apartment | Bark once if the room is empty, then pin the ad |
There is no public creature icon set to hang on these rows, so this table is the entry. Do not paste a health value, a damage value, or a "weak to bark" tag into it. Bark is loud. It is not an element. If a later patch adds a real defeat step, LazyFlock will have to show the input. Until then the demo page is the scope of the build, and this page stays an evade guide.
Use the body and the room: fridge, street door, spider body, hide prompt. Skip the preview name unless you are marking it Unverified on purpose. A black cat you hoped to equip is the customization screen, and one session could not recolor the kitten coat from white to black. That is a fur limit, documented on breeds, not a hidden boss.
You now have the demo routes. Next is the coat you can see while you run, then the board the fridge bark was for. The FAQ is only the weapon question and the names people keep promoting.
Next: pick a coat you can see in the dark on breeds, then pin the fridge ad on the clue board.
Open the exit before the grab. Door roles are on puzzles. Both puppies have to be in the session: co-op.
How far this build goes is the demo page. The first-night order is the beginner guide. If a patch adds a real defeat input, the note will be on the LazyFlock Discord before this page grows a stat block.
No verified weapon, rune, or job. Steam says you defeat evil creatures and uncover a dark past. The demo input this site can repeat is run or go around. HP and DPS are not on this page.
The late puppy reached a door that was not already open. Open it on the way in, then both of you run. Barking during the chase keeps the figure with you.
No. Bark once if the apartment is empty so the snack ad reaches the board. It is a clue on the investigation page, not a boss.
A preview says some garden, cook, or clean and may ignore you if you leave them alone. That is Unverified as a rule. If your session has none, you are not missing a required fight.
It is a garden hazard in previews. Boss status is Unverified. Go around it. There is no weak-point chart.
Unverified. Media mentions a black cat behind the kidnapping. The board does not ask you to fight one. A white kitten coat is a fur option, not that cat.
No. Arachnophobia-friendly presentation changes how the body is drawn. You still turn around and leave. Sneak-past and a guaranteed hide stay Unverified.
There is no icon pack. Use the text table on this page. Proper names from previews stay Unverified until the demo shows them.
